Ok, tested and trued is a stretch given our own limited time Mr. Green
but what I'd like to know is if any build after 21676 became popular, with fewer bugs etc ?

Yup, I'm thinking on the heartbleed and krak vulnerabilities. I don't expect it to be already available and tested etc but inputs are appreciated.

And finally, I'm asking because twice I have burnt myself and bricked my E3000 with newer builds Crying or Very sad

First I was able to tftp the stock firmware after a few tries, great.
Now, I can't because there is no firmware smaller than 3Mb that will run and allow for more upgrades.
My E3000 starts after several boots; when the router becomes "pingable" it only allows the connection to tftp for about 9-10 seconds so, it is not enough time for the full firmware (about 7.7 Mb) to upload.... it *almost* loads the dd-wrt.v24-21676_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e3000.bin but still needs 3 more seconds.

(This makes me want a super trimmed down dd-wrt build with only administration to be able to load it and do flash afterwards).

Tonite... better saying tomorrow, I'll go the serial debrick way... waiting for my adapter to come in the mail.

Thanks for reading.

The latest build 33555 and the E3000 router thread has several mentions of using E3000 k3x, which means you can use SFE accelerated NAT if using gateway mode.
