Archer C8 V1 load

I am looking for the most stable load for Archer C8. Every load I have used for the repeater mode seems to have issues with the mobile to the C8. I have no issues with the C8 connecting to my home router. If i put no security on the c8 on the virtual port it works fine. As soon as I through security on it I cannot connect to it.
