first - i appologize if this is in the wrong place.
i just stumbled across this project tonight and am intrigued. we have a netgear FVS318 at the office, and i am interested in putting dd-wrt or something similar on it - the default netgear interface is lacking. however i didnt see it on the successful hardware list and really dont want to deal with a bricked router at work.
the long and short: it would be awesome if the FVS318 was tested or if someone knows of a similar project that would work for it.
Doesn't work and will never work.
It's a nice router for site to site IPSEC-VPN.
I tested its throughput a year or 2 ago and it came to a mere 12 Mbit/s and this is wired. You can get higher throughput with wireless on a WRT54GL. _________________ Asus RT16N + OTRW

The x86 version isnt wireless, is it? I also dont see why dd-wrt couldnt expand to work with non-wireless routers, as it makes a nice front end in most environments. _________________ Main Router
