Hi dd-wrt, I have a Netgear R6300V2 which I have flashed the latest version of dd-wrt onto build: :"DD-WRT v3.0-r36070M kongac (05/31/18)". For some reason on this router, all of my wireless-ac clients seem to connect at half the speed that they are supposed to connect at.
For example, my phone can connect at 433mbps to my Airport Extreme router and iperf3 verifies this by giving me speeds at around 180mbps. But when I connect to my dd-wrt router, it only shows the link speed at 200mbps and iperf3 also verifies this by showing only around 120mbps speeds. The interesting part is that my Wireless-N clients are unaffected and are able to connect at the same link rate and achieve the same speeds as my Airport Extreme. I made sure that the channel width is VHT80, not sure what else to do from here.
Thoughts?

Also, although I don't have a 2x2 device anymore, a long time ago when I initially flashed dd-wrt onto this router for test purposes, I had this same issue with my friends Surface Pro 5 which would connect at 433mbps instead of the 867mbps it was supposed to connect at. It also showed SMB transfer speeds of 20ish mb/s instead of the 40mb/s I got on stock firmware. Due to this I switched back to the Netgear firmware since I didn't need the special featured of dd-wrt at the time. Hopefully I can solve this issue now though.

Kong's latest build is here:

The latest BrainSlayer build is here:

Not sure if 'updating' will help remedy the situation or not, but wanted to pass along that info.

It is now working after settings the channel to 100 and changing it from "AC/N-mixed" to "AC-only" and then back again. For some reason, dd-wrt was initially saying that the clients were connected at VHT80, but when I opened a wifi analyzer app, it showed that the router was only broadcasting a 40mhz signal. Kinda weird but it is working fine now.
