Hello,

I just recently bought and successfully flashed my Netgear R8000 with DD WRT. I have DD WRT v3-r40559 installed on the router.

I am currently running SrtongVPN on it and it works great but I am running into a few issues. For whatever reason my Fire TV connects but it continues to disconnect and has status "Connected but with problems" I also have a Netgear Extender AC750 that will connect but it only last for a few hours connected and it doesn't even picks up the 5ghz signal.

I have searched through the forum but I find nothing helpful. This is my very first build and I recognize I am a novice at this. Please help. Sad

1) Netgear R8000 is a Broadcom device. Wrong sub-forum, this is Atheros.

2) 40559 is a crap build. Obviously you went straight to the router database, which is garbage.

3)

4) Research the build threads in the Broadcom forum:

Thanks for the response, I have followed your links and upgraded my firmware to 42819 and it seems to be running more stable now. I will take this chat to the Broadcom thread.
