I recently upgraded from 25697 to 26138 on my R7000. Everything came up fine and it has been working nicely. I forgot to reset to factory defaults. Is it ok if I leave it at that since all is well?

Not sure if there is a requirement to manually reconfigure the settings after a factory reset with the version upgrade you did; however, when you go with a higher build than 26138, there have been a couple of bug fixes that require the clearing of nvram and setting up the configuration manually.

Have you read through build 26138's thread in the forum? Here is a link:

I did not have any of the problems which are mentioned for the R7000 in your link. I do not use jffs and have no WLAN problems. I guess all is well. This is really good router in my opinion and having dd-wrt on it is awesome. There is so much you can do with it.

The earlier version was the one I originally installed on the router and it worked just fine. I just wanted to get it more up to date regarding the kernel although this one (3.10.67) doesn't seem to be long term according to kernel.org
