Cant seem to get 64Meg chip working put back 32MB and its fine, also many pads stopped working so had to jumper going to wait for a new board to try this again.

resolved but ddwrt cannot be used unless you recompile so I ended up having to use openwrt for full 64MB

Router has a bogomips of 212! surprisingly even 14+ years later this router can still keep up and is comparative performance to the dir-615 E3( much newer) with a higher clock 400Mhz but bogomips of 297, so this wrt54gs router is VERY usable still in 2021!
You can sysupgrade this to latest but left it on the older kernel its just faster.

Hi,
I have similiar issue about 64 mb ram nvram variables.I have tried
sdram_config=0x0063
sdram_ncdl=0
sdram_init=0x0113
on my WRT54GS v1.0 and it soft bricked it I have restored nvram via TJTAG it works now as before but cannot init full 64 mb.Are there any other nvram variables?
