I own a F5D8231-4 v2, if I send you the router you can make the port, right? And then can I have the router back?
I have bought it some days ago for only 59€ (new).
It's not a bad router but the admin panel sucks, it's worse then my di-524, and I want to upgrade with something better...
Hi, I have been useing DD-WRT for awhile and love it. I have the Belkin F5D8231-4 V5. Have you recieved one of these models yet from one of the other posters? If not, I am willing to send it in to get DD-WRT ported to it. I just need to know where to send it to. It would be mailed out this week.

I was wondering if we can revive this subject. I also have V5 ofr the router. I did not open it, but I assume it's the same as the other V5 that was listed there.
So, I was wondering whether it's possible to port the DD-WRT firmware to it? They post the source code for the current firmware on the site -
http://www.belkin.com/support/opensource/files/F5D8231v5-5.01.05-GPL.tar.gz
I was wondering if it helps.
I dont understand what you meen by that... Is it because no one has sent one of this type to you? Have not bart87 done this? He offer to do this long time ago..
Ps. I am sorry for my bad english...
