i do have few old Qualcomm clients and those behave very odd on Win10, similar to disconnected and then you need manually to reconnect...it doesn't want to auto connect on drops...and it's frustrating....
tried those with linux no problem...tried to fiddle with win 10 settingsor client drivers, no happiness at all...old drivers, new same effect...and i use vanilla 2.4ghz only ...it happens on all kind of routers Boadcom, Atheros-Quallcomm so, no idea what else to blame...problem solved with an usb wifi card... _________________ Atheros

Probably a client issue, but I'll mention anyway. For the last 3 builds, my wife's laptop with an older Qca61x4a chipset will not reconnect after the access point is rebooted. Windows shows no access points (all my access points are R7800s). Have to reboot the PC.

this machine does have builtin Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 but I could never get it to work worth
crap over 'bout 20 minutes....tried many many times with all you can think of. I reckon it's just trash.
I have it disabled in machines BIOS and very happy with Linksys AE6000

Didn't mean to hijack the thread. I did an reset on the IP stack and reinstalled the drivers. If that doesn't do it, I'm putting in a USB dongle and be done with it. _________________ __________________________

https://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/7669 . Im gussing this is a bit complex to fix or is a core driver bug Sad. Similar bug was reported in MArvel forum considerably earlier., Luckily the old build still works with the newer builds on my internet facing r9k.
