Be careful with using the on demand governor on K6.1.
There is a possible problem with cache coherency when the CPU switches which can cause reboots.
removed it from all my R7800's no more random reboot's ... CPU is running + 1-2C so, not a big difference ..

'bout same as other k6.1 builds
OVPN server works good -- connected to it fine via phone
When tried to access either samba share from desktop it went into forever bootloop...
...serial showed it even erase nvram but still stuck in bootloop on k6.1
Had to get on power switch to force boot back to part 2 ...good'ol r53562
nvram backup and all is well again although just 'bout enough this shit
The k6.1 includes an extra partition: rootfs_data which is not present on k4.9. Also, that particular partition ends at the same address space as the ddwrt partition: 0x000008000000. No idea if this could be problematic or not, just an observation. _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562

so far there is a a whole bunch that is problematic with k6.1.x
Partition layout changes may require serial flash of factory-to-ddwrt.img* file vice flashing back to stock as I already alluded to in the other thread? Has anyone gone this route? Maybe the split partition info is the problem...

Seems to not make any difference in the partition layout. However, I am guessing this split partition or the partition layout itself has something to do with our issues. I am going to look at some mtd headers and see if something is corrupted. _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562
