Router Model TP-Link WR1043ND V2
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r54248 std (11/29/23)
Kernel Version Linux 3.18.140-d6 #186007 Wed Nov 29 07:17:15 +06 2023 mips

update: GUI r54203 > r54248
reset: NO
mode: Gateway/Running set up form my signature
status: Operational 1h+
errors: --->>

Now i dont see the MBO in the GUI(WEB Interface) but, nvram MBO values are there..

nvram show | grep mbo
wlan0_mbo=0
wlan0_mbo_cell_data_conn_pref=0

ok its hidden under the FT settings

Disable EAPOL Key Retries is missing from GUI...
HostApd config box is missing from GUI...
but i still can see theirs nvram values

wlan0_eapol_version=1
wlan0_disable_eapol_key_retries=1

i use browser in private mode(pale-moon) and browser cash is cleared on close so, its not a browser issue to blame....

Overall on 1043v2 whit single MIPS core, this build degraded any performance that was left...
WIFI is bad...
VPN performance is very bad.. (disabled/enable DCO same shit) it used to stamp on 1.2 MB/s now its half, even lower than this..(400-700k) no idea what's happened...reverted back to 53833 and VPN and WIFI are back to normal...sadly im following the current patches/fixes so, i had to upgrade again to 54248, although its a horrible build...(also did reset and manual rebuild, nothing helped..linux, win, phones all bad VPN performance and floating wifi speeds..) Sad

Router Model Netgear R7800
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r54248 std (11/29/23)
Kernel Version Linux R7800 6.1.64 #56 SMP Wed Nov 29 03:43:33 +07 2023 armv7l

update: CLI r54203 > r54248
reset: NO
mode: Gateway/Running set up form my signature
status: Operational 1h+
errors: apart from the issues described above, that may co-exists on R7800 too...unit is operational...currently i dont have access to its GUI...Thanks BS and Team !
No idea about R7800 performance as im away ATM cant test anything..yet..

Is the TP-Link WR1043ND V2 an IEEE 802.11ax router?

As far as I know, MBO is only supported by AX devices

that's why i wondered...and reported in the previous build thread... https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=335489
I also read about it here: https://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/wi-fi-agile-multiband and is says it affects some aspects of 2,4ghz and channels used in regards to clients and AP's better wifi experience ...

Consider R7800 is also not AX router, but has it too Razz

I was also unsure if this works on none ax routers like the r7800.
It states "Limitations of MBO - All non-802.11ax access points are not supported.
it would be nice for some clarity on this.
Does DD-WRT support any ax routers yet?

dir-862L is not ax, it still has mbo option(dont use mbo anyway, bs forces mfp enabled with it and mfp breaks like half the clients out there..)

gui in wireless security is all broken, have to enable mbo then the "missing" stuff like hostapd conf box appears.. all ax settings still missing completely, i have a mt7915 and to even able ax it all has to be added (and guessed) manually into hostapd..

many of these recent new builds arent ready to be posted whatsoever.. Rolling Eyes

Flashed to this build and its now stuck in a reboot loop. Going to USB TTL this weekend to see what happened. Maybe get some logs. This router has been difficult from the get go from switching from Factory to DD-WRT and its being very temperamental on what updates it will boot with. This didn't fix it and probably made the issue worse since it bricks the unit instead.

Wish I could just send him my unit for tinkering with. No thanks to customs rules.

Router/Version: Netgear WNR2000v3
File/Kernel:
Previous/Reset: r18777
Mode/Status: bad
Issues/Errors: out of ram

This router has been broken almost since the beginning of it's support. For starters the antique r18777 build is the only one that runs on it. It won't even webflash from that build it must be flashed via telnetting into it from the command line.

Once flashed it will reboot and come up. And then within 3 minutes it will stop responding other than broadcasting the SSID. I believe that the router runs out of memory and then the http server and telnet server crash.
