Router Model: Netgear R7800
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r54517 std (12/15/23)
Kernel Version: Linux 6.1.66 #73 SMP Thu Dec 14 16:16:16 +07 2023 arm
Upgraded from: DD-WRT v3.0-r53562 std
Reset: No, not this time
Status: Up and running for 2 hours, basic setup as Gateway, static leases, port forwarding, WOL, 2,4GHz, VAP for IoT, 5Ghz, (Vanilla Firmware, Disabled Airtime), DDNS.
OpenVPN client and server working (with DCO which seems to get only a minor speed increase but have to test further).
WireGuard Client and Server working, running two tunnels in fail over group to Mullvad, one tunnel as site-to-site with holiday home and one as a server, using PBR.
Errors: Nothing encountered yet, but WAN <> LAN throughput is around 300 Mb/s less than on K4.9. Down from 860 to 560 Mb/s (with irqbalance but without SFE )
WireGuard throughput is also around 100 Mb/s less.
Some speed loss is to be expected with a newer and bloated kernel but this rather much, I hope some optimizations can be found.
Going back to latest K4.9 build 53562 as I need the throughput for this router.
Router/Version: TP-Link TL-WR841ND v11
Update method: WebUpgrade
File/Kernel: tl-wr841nd-webflash.bin_r54517 / Linux 3.18.140-d6 #187480 Fri Dec 15 07:17:00 +06 2023 mips
Previous/Reset: r54475 / no
Mode/Status: AP wired and wireless / Up and running for 1:41 hours
Issues/Errors: Nothing significant
The fact is that the router connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the orange WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). Internet is working, I just think it's a glitch

I too have gone back to k4.9 on my r7800s to regain my 1Gb/s isp speeds and faster wireguard. _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

Netgear r7500v2 Up and running for 24 hours seems like a very stable build. Sfe is disabled and almost everthing else is on default Thanks DD-WRT team.

File/Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d11 #147818 Fri Dec 15 06:45:32 +06 2023 mips
Previous/Reset: r40559 (reset on upgrade)
Mode/Status: Station (travel router)
Issues/Errors: No WireGuard options in GUI
This is to confirm that this version runs without noticeable issues on this old, space-limited (4MB flash) device, and I assume it's because of those limitations that there are no options for WireGuard config in the GUI (though using telnet I see it's present in the kernel).
