Router Model: TP-Link ARCHER-C7 v5
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r54569 (12/21/23)

I am attempting to follow the VLAN configuration via GUI - 1 CPU port guide, however I do not see the "Switch Config" tab when I select "Setup". The only tabs I can see are: Basic Setup, IPv6, DDNS, Mac Address Clone, Advanced Routing, Networking, and Tunnels.

I am very new to dd-wrt and just set up the router today with dd-wrt, so I imagine I am missing a very elementary step. Thanks for any advice you may provide.

Did you reset and reboot (twice?), clear browser cache, or do a CTRL+F5? Was it visible in a previous build?

Yes, I have reset and reboot twice in the GUI via Administration -> Factory Defaults; cleared the browser cache; and forced the page to reload (I am on a Mac so the keyboard shortcut was command + R). Is there a different reset method I should attempt?

This is the first build I have tried using with dd-wrt so I am not sure if it was visible in a previous build. Though I did see it mentioned in the 1 CPU VLAN GUI Configuration guide.

The router does not have anything connected to the WAN port. I didn't think that should be an issue, but mentioning it just in case.

On occasion I have had to put in the full URL to the Switch Config tab manually. Try this:
http://RouterIP/Vlan.asp

Once you turn it on, it should show back up after a reboot.

That's a negative. The ⌘+R is a standard reload, not forced (to bypass cache):

  • Chrome or Firefox for Mac: Press Shift+Command+R.
  • Safari for Mac: There is no simple keyboard shortcut to force a hard refresh. Instead, press Command+Option+E to empty the cache, then hold down Shift and click Reload in the toolbar.

x2 on the following suggestion:

it could be missing by mistake...as it was removed from those devices with dumb switch..unless your router has one too..where WAN port is part of the switch and ect...

do not reset the router to factory settings again, but reboot the router without resetting.

After a (one!) factory reset, several restarts are necessary (the tab is not displayed after the first restart)

Thank you! After several restarts, I was able to successfully navigate directly to the Switch Config URL.
