Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Debug Analyze: strace tcpdump.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."

The fact is that the router is connected to the Internet (to the Internet provider). And it reports an error, the red WAN indicator flashes (the icon in the form of a planet). The internet works, I just think it's a glitch.
But this does not affect the work.

Good job fixing the ksmbd problem since build r54905! This is the first firmware reboot for this build.
update:
Hang on... ksmbd froze again after about half an hour(?). "service samba3 stop" ("sh -c echo hard > /sys/class/ksmbd-control/kill_server") still froze.

After cold boot, ksmbd still couldn't be restarted properly and hence was NOT usable. Worst, jffs (/dev/sda1) was again not mounted properly, but /opt was OK.

Going back to build 54682!

It seems like port forwarding applies external port to internal hosts (internal ports are always the same as external (only such forwarding works))

BS thinks it has to open some ports in the firewall via INPUT.
The INPUT rules are absolutely useless.

He also does not explain to me why he thinks this would have any effect.
It does nothing and works without it.

Has worked for 10 years without the INPUT rules.

I also scratch my head - the hair is already getting less.

Issues/Errors: Reverted back to 2023-12-30-r54652 to get OVPN working, all okay

Also tested 2024/01-02-2024-r54682/netgear-r6700v2/ same problem as r55009, ovpn client not working, revert back to 2023-12-30-r54652 for working ovpn client.

Edit: I read in post from Alozaros for New Build - 01/14/2024 - r54914 to try adding disable-dco and re-tested ovpn cient and success. Will report back if any errors.

Edit2: interestingly my Linksys E2500 and E3000 routers ovpn worked fine on this version without adding disable-dco
