Hi,
I understand that the wl command doesn't exist on atheros routers.
So, how do one stop/starts a wifi station connection on the command line?
I tried with iw command but doesn't seem to recognize the disconnect/connect options
iw wlan0 disconnect
iw wlan0 connect SSID

Are you trying to toggle the Wi-Fi antennas?

No, i have the 2.4GHz radio on my ArcherC7v2 configured as client to get internet from my phone hotspot.
But happened to me sometimes that it didn't connect automatically after turning my phone hotspot on.
