I've emailed BrainSlayer directly with my confirmation. I had previously emailed him about your reports, I thought. He's been focused on other things, obviously.

Edit: These issues should be mostly disregarded because I was improperly using "L2Mesh Enable" and "L2Mesh Bridge" which caused intermittent loss of connectivity. But for those of us who press buttons they don't understand, it would be nice if "L2Mesh Enable" could be turned off without resetting the router.

Router/Version: Netgear R7000
Previous/Reset: Initial Flash firmware / Yes reset
Mode/Status: Router, WDS, Default? / Unpredictable restarts
Issues/Errors: Three seemingly random restarts many minutes after any GUI changes while just monitoring status. I believe it restarted again after a GUI "Restore to Factory Defaults" and a power cycle so just downgraded to r55416 and have not had trouble after doing seemingly the same things. Had not tried the hardware reset button yet.

Can't remember exactly what I was doing, but from defaults I had attempted to set it up as a test WDS Client according to the wiki to an AC56U both from defaults. I did not get them passing actual traffic. WiFi devices would try the client first but then switch to the host for internet access. I assume they are not compatible or not capable.
