Hi,

I'm running latest std v24-sp2 on my Buffalo WHR-G54S.

I just get disconnected from my router (just over WIFI!, LAN works without a problem) and when trying to reconnect it just tells me its "unable to connect to network MY_SSID".

This happens after few minutes of using P2P apps (Skype, DC++ for example). Both of them use ports that are ranging from XXX00 to XXX20 and are forwarded to my computer's IP.

LAN works without ANY problem at that time so i have no idea what to do.

Please help me!

Thank you.

"latest" is not a build!!! See the sig if you've got 13064.

This is the build i'm using:

Standard Generic
dd-wrt.v24_std_generic.bin

There's no latest build available for my router (checked database). I dont see where this could be the problem (exploit) to my problem (wifi cant connect when p2p is running).

Hi and thank you for replying.

First of all, I'm sorry for answering a response that would be taken like rude by many. It wasnt the purpose of it.

I just went though all of the links you both did and yes:

1) i have 13064
2) i am downloading (Standard Generic) dd-stt.v24_std_generic.bin (2009-07-22) 3,50 MB as i type this. build 12533.

I will report my results later. Thank you and I'm sorry,

Regards.

Since there is no "official" SP2 release yet...the "NewMedia-NET GmbH" is populating the router database with the last released build....And currently the Database is now also linking to the 12533 build. This build will work fine. The Database may recommend bad builds and you should look here for recommended builds that have proven to be stable from actual user testing.

i read that from redhawk0's topic.

which one is it then? :O

Build 12533 is fine but the recommendations are listed below that section you quoted and vary depending on the hardware. For your model it's the first link.

RECOMMENDED BUILDS update 04/10/10

Do NOT load Micro builds on any N-Class router. There are no N Drivers in the Micro build.

If you do have problems and have flashed your router with one of the early builds listed above...please reflash your router with a Pre-SP2 build located in this directory BEFORE posting any questions. Keep in mind...these are TEST builds (use at your own risk) but are known to be working well by the dd-wrt community in general.

FYI....BrainSlayer released this 13525 build to his Paying customers.

BrainSlayer builds (13525):
ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/12-28-09-r13525/broadcom/
