Hi,
I have been trying to assign a static IP address to one of my PCs in the LAN following the procedure described in http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Static_DHCP. However, my PC (running either under UBUNTU_10.04 or Win7) happily continues to take IP addresses at random. I need a static address for remote login. Can anybody tell me how to find out what is wrong?! Please note that I'd like to assign the same IP address to two different MAC addresses (ethernet and wlan of the same PC) if possible. See screenshot for my setup but note that it NEITHER WORKED when I did NOT assign two MAC addresses to the same IP.

Thanks for hints, D-E

Wow Dude. That thing is ancient... and so is your firmware.

DD-WRT v23 isnt even supported anymore.

Even I would have to agree on this one. Upgrade your firmware or you get no support. Check the announcements at the top of the "Broadcom SoC based Hardware" forum and check the "Peacock" thread (see my signature).
