Folks,

does anyone know the default passwd for a ponte2 enabled f*nera? I got one from a friend of mine and I wanna get rid of ponte2 and install dd-wrt. unfortunately I find no way to access the web-interface nor ssh - I just don't know the passwd. hard-reset does not work (no way to get access with "root" and "admin") and redboot isn't enabled either.

Please help!

Problem solved! You just have to reset the f*nera properly which is a real mess with the default f*n firmware on it. instead of holding down the reset button once for approx. 30 secs, you have to go through, what I'd call it, a procedure!

Sure, if you're interested..
First of all, to check connectivity, I'd recommend to ping 169.254.255.1 and set up your connection settings accordingly.

1. Fully boot the f*nera
2. Press the reset button until LAN and WLAN LEDs went dark (approx. 1 min)
3. Release the reset button
4. Wait until LAN LED shows up again
5. Press the reset button another time for about 15 secs
6. Power cycle and let the f*nera reboot

That's it! The f*nera is reseted to f*n factory defaults afterwards! Much more of a procedure instead of the common holding 30 secs the reset button from my perspective!
