I bought this as an impulse buy for 12 bucks and was one of the lucky ones to have the 2MB chip. Looking forward to having DD-WRT in the future as it is worthless to me at the moment.

If you ca get another one for 12$, buy it and send it to me. This is only way I can make it work with dd-wrt.

I unsoldered the 1MB flash from Netgear WGR614v6 board, and replaced with a 2MB one (S29AL016D90TF102). The 2MB flash was pre-flashed the first 256k with Linksys WRT54Gv5's CFE (http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/wrt54gv5%20flashing/CFE.bin) by a certain programmer before it was being soldered on. I guess this CFE should be working for Netgear WGR614v6 as well, because its hardware specification is very close to WRT54Gv5. However, after powered one, all LEDs are turned on, but not flickering; and I even get nothing from the series console. Looks that this CFE does not initialize the board at all.

Also attached the whole image of the previous 1MB flash dumped by the programmer. It is believed to be VxWorks.
Anybody interested in having a look?

Any other CFE can I try?
Sorry I deleted the attachement because it includes some private informations.
