Dear all,
I have a Linksys E3000 and would like to experiment with dd-wrt.
I am a little concerned about what would happen if I needed to send back it for warranty (e.g. for a hardware issue) after it has been reflashed back with the Linksys firmware.

Is there a way in wich Linksys technical support could discover that, at a certain point in time, the original firmware was changed to dd-wrt and then restored (thus claiming the warranty is void as I messed with the unit) ?

Is there a difference between reverting back to stock firmware by the usual GUI or TFTP or other means in terms of "traces left behind" ?

Thanks a lot.
