It doesn't matter bro as long as you have the radio/wireless working. Best way is to try other firmware but be very careful. Don't use firmware not intended for your device. take time to read some posts here inside.

I created a chipin to purchase a dir-615 H2 (Hx) for porting. Amazon.de has them for 32€ which approx. equals 50USD.

EDIT:

Goal reached and port done. Beta can be found here: ftp://www.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2012/06-08-12-r19342/dlink-dir615h/

Flash dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin first from dlink fw, then the full fw dir615h-ddwrt-webflash.bin from dd-wrt. Caution, even it is tested and confirmed working for H2, do this at your own risk.

Any News, for the Dlink DIR 615 - Hardware REV B2?

Not supported and will never become supported due to the Ubicom cpu.

¿What about the Rev. A1?

I have a DIR-615C1 with DD-WRT, but I think I had a bad flash. I'm trying to roll back to the stock firmware, but I am encountering issues, because the recovery flash won't load no matter what.

who has dir 615 with openwrt?

i need your help to recover the "art" partition.
i have a broken wi-fi (error -22)

First find out which partition the art partition is:

Code:
root@OpenWrt:~# cat /proc/mtd

This should list all partitions; find out whitch mtdX is "art" (I suspect mtd5).
Then copy it from a working dir 615:

Code:
root@OpenWrt:~# cp /dev/mtdX /tmp/mtdX

then copy it from /tmp mtdX (e.g. with scp) and send to me please (pm for email)

Hey there,

Stuck after a successful flash on my DIR-615 C1.

Here is my setup.

I have a DGL-4500 (192.168.0.1) as my main router, with the DiR-615 connected to it and connected to my desktop PC.

I flashed the DIR-615 with the latest version of DD-WRT and believe it was successful as I can browse the internet but I cannot access the web interface. I checked the logs of my DGL-4500 and believe it has allowed the 615 to setup on 192.168.0.199. When I ping that IP, I get a response but when I try to input that ip address in Mozilla I do not get the web interface coming up.

Any help would be appreciated!
