Hi everyone. I`m using DD-WRT for the past few days and I`m having one problem in particular - browsing thrue my wifi phones - Samsung Omnia and the other device is SonyEricsson c905. The devices doesn`t have a problem with connecting to the router, but once they are connected I have to wait around 5 or 6 minutes for google.com to load. I`ve tried various builds from 13064 to 14144 and the problem still occurs. When I was using the original Buffalo firmware there was no such problem and I was hoping that maybe someone solved it but for the past few days I wasn`t been able to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated 10x.

There are some posts about IPhones and the WHR-G300N
I suspect you might be having a similar issue.
a Lot of us do not use wireless phones with the WHR-G300N,
so we can't do testing or don't have those issues. _________________ Soylent Green Is People !

Linksys EA8500 - OpenWRT IPQ806x Trunk R16375 5.4 Kernel
I have tried upgrading the past few days and keep having to reflash the router using TFTP, but has anyone been able to get a build above 13525 to work? I can't get anyhting to work using the web gui to upgrade

Hi, I had a similar problem and I restarted the device using the hardware button. After the restart I was been able to install the new build(14144), using web flash. Try it and hope this works for you.

Do you mean using the physical reset button? Also, was this after you tried to flash it once or when you already had a successful version of DD-WRT running?

The method I have been using for a while is a "Telnet hard reset" to clear out the nvram before flashing any firmware.
Log into the router using telnet, then enter:
erase nvram
reboot
or
mtd -r erase nvram
After the router reboots it is ready to flash upgrade via GUI.
Also - build 14815 is out - may want to try that one as well. _________________ Soylent Green Is People !

I am running build 13972 on my WHR-G300N. Currently the latest build recommended is 14896. Has anyone been running this build on the WHR-G300N and can confirm that it is stable? Or is there a build later than 13972 that is more stable?
I occasionally lose my WiFi connectivity with this build and performance is slow at times.

14896 is stable for me on the WHR-G300N. I'm in G-Only mode. Other WHR-G300N owners seem to be having luck with the latest builds, using N, but they're unstable for me and a handful of others. Everyone agrees that 14896 is stable, however, so it may be your best bet.
