Does this router have any known issues with the wireless radio encountering problems after prolonged use? I've had the N15 for over a year, and suddenly the wireless side has started dropping connection (or slowing down to a turtle speed)..but the wired side stays up and fine while the wifi side is doing this.

so I can be cat5 and surfing just fine, but at the same time using laptop wifi and slowly getting worse with connection.

This happens to me as well. I'm still on 17201 from a ways back, it works fine except for this random dropping issue.

Based on this forum post it seems the newer builds have their own set of issues. What is the best build that people have found with no issues (over a long period)?

Is there any point in trying to flash dd wrt to this router?
Any versions that work great?

my experience with this router is that after i flashed it with the one listed in the database as being compaible, id noticed the cpu usage would quickly and steadily rise to 100% and stay there.

Im fairly sure this isnt quite supported just yet.

Who tried this solve?: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/2067

There has been recently a change in iptable rules, that improves performance. If you have still have a problem, repopen ticket and provide your current iptables ruleset.

How iptables can influence for pppoe speed?

I have tried :
01-10-2014-r23320-fix - not working wifi
02-04-2014-r23503 - not working wifi
02-19-2014-r23598 - not working at all
Then I have went to 18007 as advised on forum. This version seems ok. I had small problems to get wifi working on full signal, but in the end i got it to work ok.
Will the issue of not working wifi be fixed in new ddwrt releases?

No updates?
The asus has posted GPL source code for RT-N15 in 2008 !

GPL source code of RT-N15, firmware version 1.0.0.7
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/RT-N15/source_FW1007.tgz

I see now the download links are removed from dd-wrt.com download page. Will this router be supported?

Right i on on 18007, will be honest wireless does not entertain me. Have VM(uk)152 meg connected. Always got over 160 meg connected on original firmware. When plugged into lan port and set up as access point i get full bandwidth. When plugged into WAN port i lose approx 10MB connection. It might not seem a lot to people but why the loss?

This thread was opened for initial device support being added to the firmware, not a one stop shop help desk. Not going to have a thread turn into 100 pages of unnecessary cumbersome nonsense. Please report issues in build release threads. Use search function, Google, or open a new thread to discuss issues and seek help. Thank you.
