Hi there,

I have a DIR-300 flashed whith v24-sp2 beta and had this problem, wich was really annoying me.
Neither Linux nor W$ could connect to the router.

After 2 successfull 30/30/30 resets, the problem was still there.

So I looked into the status page and saw that radio was transmitting on an "unknown" channel. I found that setting the channel to be automatically selected caused the problem, at least in my case. I set it manually to channel 10 and worked just fine. BTW, I´m using WPA.

The router has been up since then, with no problem.

Hope this helps in some way.

Regards,
Juan Manuel.

Updated my brand new DIR-300 to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/01/09) std - build 12033. Now I can't get WPA/WPA2 enabled. Web gui takes the all the parameters and key without any error, but even after SAVE + Apply Setting my wireless network is still "Unencrypted".

Tried setting up WEP, it worked without issue. But I don;t want to run WEP on my wireless network.

Crying or Very sad Can't get WPA/WPA2 working..... ##$#$@%%@#

BS, the problem is when you select BG-Mixed in Wireless Network Mode.
Could you verify, please?

Choosed g-only and fixed channel. That seems to solve the issue.

I don´t think. I´ve tried on my PC, Notebook, Nokia N95 and Nokia 5800 and the problem is the same.

It briefly did this on the WGT 624 V4 release. And it happened for both my XP system (latest drivers) and my Ubuntu laptop (jaunty). It stopped doing it now but i have no idea why it stopped. I set my band thats maybe what fixed it as suggested earlier.

Chaning the channel also worked for me using v24 sp1 on a Linksys WRT54G v5 router. Also I was able to change it back to the original setting and it still continued to allow WPA2 security.
