Hi,

I have a WBMR-HP-G300H that appears to be totally bricked, well almost totally.

The gigabit switch still works, the leds with switch work but nothing else.

No other LEDs work, I get nothing on serial at all and apart from the leds on the RJ45 ports you would not know the device is on.

Did we ever find jtag on the device?

Any ideas?

Hello,

it's not very difficult to unbrick this modem. Just see here :

http://s4ff.blogspot.com.es/2012/11/buffalo-wbmr-hp-g300h-how-to-recover.html

later, you can put ddwrt with web-upgrade using ulmage.bin
ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2013/02-11-2013-r20675/buffalo_wbmr_g300nh/uImage.bin

I've unbricked my modem using this method (intemp to revert to factory -> bricked)

Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned originally that nothing happens when I power up with the AOSS button depressed.

Wireshark does not see anything coming from the device.

I'm not sure how things ended up this way but the unit had not been opened so I'm thinking a real bad flash that screwed the bootloader or something more permenant like a hardware failure.

Still odd that the switch works which is what is giving me hope. Very Happy
