Trying to access my work via Microsoft Forefront Unified Access - "UAG" which I believe is connecting through SSH. The connection is dropped after e few seconds.

Why?

Well ... why does the Earth revolve around the sun?

Seriously, more details please. Please explain the steps of what you are doing in trying to get your tunnel to work and where the connection fails.

Simple test

Remove the router, hook up a computer directly to your modem.

If you can connect and stay connected - its a router setting
If you still drop connection, its either your internet connection or your computer.

Start simple and then you have less troubleshooting for yourself.

Yes, maybe i should have attached a tcpdump of the traffic, but it seemed overkill at the first posting.

I found a solution: i upgraded to a newer build, and the issue was resolved.

Ergo: firmware bug.

Thanks,
Anders

Not necessarily. It could have been a configuration issue. But since you updated the firmware. We may never know.
