so.

at my home we have internet connection via optical fibre. we also have IP TV (and telephone, irrelevant)

so, if i connect "directly to optical fibre - first switch" i get a global ip and if in open the right address in let's say VLC i can se IP TV channels.

so here's the problem

when i connect wireless to my asus w500gP which is flashed with the latest firmware, v24 i think, i can't see the tv.

i turned off the firewall(s) and even put my IP in DMZ. still nothing.

other people are talking something about supporting multicast of smthng?

does any1 know how can i see the TV on my laptop?

look at security -> firewall -> filter multicast
