Fonera 2100 A/B/C 0.7.0 r4
I'm not using a Crossover Cable just the regular cable that came with the Fonera.

Putty:
cd /tmp

wget http://192.168.10.199/openwrt-ar531x-2.4-vmlinux-CAMICIA.lzma

wget:Unable to connect to remote host (192.168.10.199): No route to host

After this I stop,no point to continue if I can't connect.
Help Guys.
PM when ever you can or email at

It doesn't matter if you use crossover or standard patch cable. Don't worry about it.

If you are on Windows(?), go through this checklist:

1. Your PC has IP 192.168.10.199?
2. Connectivity from f*nera to 192.168.10.199? Verify with ping
3. HFS is running at 192.168.10.199?
4. HFS uses port 80?

Hope that helps!

Here is my problem:
I don't remember exactly how it happened or what i did to my Fonera 2100,one thing for sure,is not brick .

The symptoms are:
Power-----ON
Internet--ON
Wlan------OFF
Reset-----Can't Reset no matter what I do

I have really mess up the Fonera this time and I just don't know what to do.Should I throw it away or really hit it with a brick .(try to understand I'm Mad for not getting it right the first time.)

What other option's do I have?
I'm using my Laptop not my PC.
Id it possible that my Ethernet setting at my Laptop are mess up maybe it doesn't have the right configuration in Oder to let the Fonera connect to Wlan?

PLease PM if you can help me out. Thanks

Confused

The IP settings are incorrect?!?

Though I do not understand what your trying to achieve (no experience with Fonera), the 2 IP addresses you have listed is in different subnets.

Your computer has an IP address 192.168.1.115, but on the fonera you try connecting to 192.168.10.199. These are different subnets, and if this is not Foneras LAN network, it will try to access it on the Internet. And private subnets are not used on the Internet.

This what I want to do:http://fonerahacks.com/index.php/Tutorials-and-Guides/Xbox-360-Wireless-Adapter-Using-the-La-Fonera.html

What I need to know is what are the settings for my Local Area Network Connection/General/Properties/TCP/IP/IP Address 192.168.1.166/Subnet mask 255.255.255.0.Status is connected.

In Putty I have this:
IP 192.168.10.1 port 22 SSH / IP 192.168.1.254 Telnet
Port 9000.

When I open my Wireless Connection and I click refresh,MyPlace connection is not present, only thing I see is my D-Link connection but I'm not connected to it.

I was using different tutorials to do this, I think I have changed something that I wasn't suppose to do.
At this moment my Wlan light is OFF no matter what combination I use for resetting it wont Reset PERIOD.

I can Ping 192.168.1.166 (0% Lost)

I can't open this ip 192.168.10.1 in Fox
FAILED TO CONNECT

Conclusion and please correct me if I wrong ok:
There is no way that I can connect to 192.168.10.1 if MyPlace connection is not pressent.

I even try to open 195.168.1.254 with Putty and it FAILS.

I just can remember what i was doing,Man I need to stop Smoking.

Laughing

You are pinging your own machine!!! You are asking your computer to ping itself.

You cannot connect to this, your computer is in a different subnet and does not have a default gateway, that is why it is giving up.

Gateway is needed when your computer needs something which is a different subnet than itself, in your case everything but 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254.

So when you try to communicate to and from 192.168.10.1 your computer says "This is not in my area, so my gateway must know this network, Ohhh I dont have a gateway, I give up"
