I'm using Kong v3.0-r33675M on my Netgear R7000 router.

I know the R7000 supports guest wifi because it worked with the default firmware, netgear.

I've setup my guest wifi the simplest I can from a guide I found on the net:

http://tips.desipro.de/2013/12/06/guest-wifi-setup-dd-wrt/

It shows up as an AP in wireless list, but when connecting it never connects and just errors out saying it can't connect. I've gotten it to connect a couple times but then it connects but no IP.

My setup is attached as screenshots.

Seems like it was the kong build I was using. I downgraded to v3.0-r31575M and it works fine.

Probably not. After every change you make you have to reboot otherwise you will not get an IP address

Tried that many times as well. Oh well, with the older firmware it worked good, so I'm good now I guess. Thanks!
