Hi
I have a linksys wrt54g acting as a gateway but its not routing properly. The gateway has IP address 10.20.72.1 and has a valid WAN connection and connects via a homeplug to 2 other routers which also have homeplugs.
The other routers are 10.20.72.2 and 10.20.72.3, Any PCs connected to 10.20.72.2 or 10.20.72.3 can see the internet fine, However 10.20.72.2 cant see 10.20.72.3 and vice-versa. Pinging fails too from these routers. Pinging from 10.20.72.1 to 2 or 3 works great. Hence my gateway is not routing correctly on its LAN ports.
Did you configure routes on the wrt54g to those networks? _________________ Read the forum announcements thoroughly! Be cautious if you're inexperienced.

Thanks. Its OK I've sorted it. It was a strange one and one to remember. The internal network was trying to contact 10.20.72.3 directly from 10.20.72.2. It was the home plug at 10.20.72.3 which had a strong connection to 10.20.72.1 and the connection between 10.20.72.2 and 10.20.72.1 was strong but the connection to 10.20.72.3 from 10.20.72.2 was poor and hence no connectivity although they had the lights lit.
