Hello everybody,
please help me because I have tried everything to fix my problems...

Here is my configuration:

O.S.: Windows 7 64 bit
Firewall: windows 7
Antivirus: KIS 2010 (no firewall installed)
Router: Linksys WRT610n v. 2
Network: one desktop connected by ethernet and two notebooks by wi-fi.
problems: wireless and emule.

I first tried the router with its original firmware. All worked fine. Simple installation, simple configuration, good software (network magic). 10 min and my lan was set up. Very Happy

With modded firmware, everything goes worse.

1- Wireless 5Ghz is not detected; wireless 2.4Ghz is detected as "dd wrt" without protection EVEN if I modify SSID name and put WPA 2 Personal mixed key.

2- Emule slow speed by ethernet connection. This one is really really strange Shocked
The TCP UDP ports test was always successfull with the original firmware, the download speed was between 500 and 800 Kbps. With modded firmware I see a strange thing. I test the ports, and both are successfull. I test them after 10 seconds, UDP failes. I test again after 10 seconds, both are open: seems like the UDP port closes and opens in few seconds. This affect my speed, which is 50-60k instead of 500-800 kbs..
I tried everything, from forwarding ports to triggering ports, to UPnP, to disable router firewall... nothing changes.

Funny thing: I tried to connect my desktop directly to my modem, emule works fine. I then connect the modem to the router: again the close/open UDP problem.

I tried both last modded firmware, Eko (dd-wrt.v24-13575_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin) and BS (dd-wrt.v24-14144_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin) and I don't know what I have to do to fix it.

Last thing: I obviusly followed the guide to install the firmwares correctly.

Thank youuuuu!!!!

Did you click on "Save" AND THEN "Apply Settings" after you changed the settings? Do a hard reset (30-30-30) and reconfigure the router again.

??? Relly? FIRST save and THEN apply settings? I thought it was like windows, apply settings for continue to work on the windows, and save to save&leave...

Thank you, I'll try and post here the results!

Now both wireless connections are detected, but emule still dosen't work properly.

Also, now with IE8 I can't see image thumbanils and video previews on google...

Perhaps you need to enable UPnP in the router so eMule can open the right ports on the routers firewall.

I did that. Also, I tried to do both: UPnP and port forwarding. Nothing changes.
