Yes, I also have this page bookmarked, and awaiting a response. Adax, your reply is a bit (...) different to the last 20 pages on this thread.
It is charming, friendly & hopeful.
If the port to this router (on buying I thought it was a version 1) is completed, I will be happy. If it is not, then thanks for at least trying. I'm not going to bitch about any generous folk who put time and effort into doing something in their spare time.
Thank you for your efforts, for at least putting it on the list of possible ports. It is a new chipset, and too many things can become too hard. Don't let the grumpies piss you off from continuing to enjoy playing with hardware.
Im pretty sure im just going to get a router that is already supported. Just because they say its a work in progress doesn't mean that they are working on it.

I think I'm gonna do the same thing. Sell this shitty router to some unlucky bastard on eBay and buy me a better one.
every hardware donation is welcome if you are considering that you will never get it back. you can get our address from the imprint on www.newmedia-net.de or dd-wrt.com itself.
since we can support RT2880 now, it should be not a big deal to create a firmware now
It is almost half year since they can support it, and still no new firmware? Developers, can you give as any hope?
Congratulations! Now you don't have to return to this thread ever again. Your soul has been released. But do check in a year from now and see if we are still around.
