Hi,

i try to use on my Buffolo WZR 1800, a Cron Script to disable Wifi. And it/or the driver just failed to re-enable Wifi on the third Day.

Its about startservice/stopservice radio_on_0 (or radio_on_1), and later to try wl radio on/wl radio off. behind.

After three days i have no Logs and no responding Terminal reaction to reactive Wifi through a Cronjob.

First, can i enable Logging with adding Space through USB?
Second, can i try to toggle wifi-Powersafing on and of through the Wifi-Button on the Router?
Third, why fail the Driver to activate Wifi afterwards?

The Cronjob looks like this:

08 00 * * 1 root wl radio on; startservice radio_0_on;
20 00 * * 1 root stopservice radio_0_off; sleep 10; wl radio off;

Adding screenshot.

I dont understand what this is startservice radio_0_on or stopservice radio_0_off

References:

- https://svn.dd-wrt.com/browser/src/router/services/services/radiotimer.c

wl radio on/off is all you need via cron, if you insist on using cron or dont have radio scheduling via interface.

for more information do

nvram show |grep radio

dont mess with radio*_on_time just fyi.
