My linksys e2000 router was bricked after I flashed the r23204_e2000_mini.bin .

I´ve successfuly conected by serial on wan port.

But...instead of flashing linksys Stock firmware I did flash dd-wrt.v24-14929_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-e2000 ... I´ve had read somewhere here that I could flash dd-wrt at the first time instead of the stock firmware.

Now, I do not see anything even on the serial conexion screen (hyperterminal)...

Please help-me: What can I do next? Jtag?

Did I corrupt the CFE boot by doing this?

If you don't get any output then you have probably damaged the CFE but that should not happen if you only pushed the firmware by tftp, the CFE knows where to write it and will not overwrite itself.

If you entered the cmd manually and the cmd was not correct then it is very possible that you overwrote the cfe.

jtag it seems to be for you now..

Hi,

Thanks for the help.

I just pushed the firmware with tftp2.exe...nothing else.

I saw this post http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=688702
where they say it´s difficult to sold the jtag on this router.

Do you have more info about it?

Yeah. It means those holes are TINY and really hard to work with. From what you say serial should work, but you have to have done more than tftp. What did you do with serial?

Try getting serial to work. It will save you a world of pain.

It could help you ruin it so it can't be recovered.
