I'd go with the GL because it supports the newer wireless driver (newd) which makes available Vwiz.

GL will let you run more than one SSID on the same router.

If I flash WRT54G to DD-WRT, does it have this function?

No...V2 only supports a single Virtual SSID with the 4712 processor....

You are better off with the GL. It has a newer 5352 processor.

Wireless Drivers are different between the VINT and NEWD builds.

the 4712 units WILL run NEWD just fine unless you need BSSID. The processor will only support a single virtual SSID.

The NEWD running on the 535X based radios can have multiple SSID broadcasting at once.

The older 4710 based units with a wl0_corerev of 4 or less MUST run VINT builds or the NEWD driver will brick them. (it took me 8 hours to recover my V1.0 unit when the driver was updated back in RC6....it trashed my CFE partition)
