DD-WRT firmware question, please help

my router is a WRT54G2 v1 and i installed DD-WRT, Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/30/0Cool micro. and it is said that there is a version that has kai on it how do i install that version and where can i get it?

may i know where can i get it?i only see WRT54G_v2 etc there isnt any WRT54G2

Router Model: Linksys WRT54Gv8 / GSv7 / G2v1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/30/0Cool micro - build 10709M NEWD Eko

on my router it says WRT54G2 v.1. which is the correct one?

dd-wrt replaces the original firmware, not install over it, so technically there's no uninstall. However if you choose ddwrt over the stock firmware for more feature, it is unlikely you'll wanna go back.

is there a guide on how to configure it for proper usage?? after i've installed it my connection have been unstable

No, what's "proper" is very much what you want. Suggest reading the peacock stick thread right on top of the forum. Then share what you've already done based on the problem.
