Difference is afaik only the cpu speed , 200Mhz for 5352 and 240Mhz for 5354.
But the document is only a product brief and not a full datasheet.

good to know, perhaps over-elaborating on this, are they at the same die-size?

Difficult to say without a microscope Very Happy or a complete datasheet but a good guess is that they have reduced the line width internally in order to speed it up.

Hello,
I have a wrt54g v1.1 router with the Intel TE28F320 - 4MB flash chip. My router has a bad flash chip and I want to replace it. The only reasonably priced chip I can find is this one at Mouser http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=SST39VF3202-70-4C-EKEvirtualkey51530000virtualkey804-39VF32027CEKE. It has identical specs to the intel chip, but I do not know if there will be any compatibility issues. The pins are all the same, but the ball points on the bottom seem to differ slightly, I am not sure if this is to be a problem when attaching it to the board, or when trying to flash it. I chose this one because it is supported by the jtag debrick utility btw.
If anyone can identify whether or not this chip will work please let me know!

Thank you
Sean

Use a GS v5 or GS V6 cfe.. either find it in the collection project or on one of the ftp servers.

firmware is firmware , cfe is cfe, and it is rare that a mfgr includes the cfe for update when doing a firmware update so it is almost never included in the update software.

Hi!

I have WRT54G v5 with 8M RAM chip: Hynix HY57V641620.
64 megabytes of memory work well? The chip type is Hynix HY57V56820.
Thanks!
