I have a really puzzling problem. I get access to the internet via a 2wire 2701HG-B Wireless Gateway. I'm trying to save money, so I used dd-wrt to flash a Linksys WRT-54G ver 2 in order to use it as a wireless antenna for my Xbox 360. The good news is that the Linksys works and I can connect to Xbox Live when it is plugged into my XBox. The weird part is that whenever the Linksys router is powered on, all the other computers that try to connect to the 2wire Gateway (the host) lose connectivity. I have the Linksys set up in client mode. My intuition tells me that the issue lies in the different subnets that are created when I do this, but I'm not positive.

Any suggestions are appreciated,
David.

You likely want client bridged mode, not client mode.
