For a while I have been experiencing problems, and I have been narrowing it down slowly to the point that whenever I receive a phone call on my cable/voip modem, I have connection issues that seem to happen or affect networked devices.

The problems include:
Dropped VNC Connections
Signal Strength drops
Other minor issues

What doesn't happen:
IRC stays online
All connections are still active to the main router

If someone could help me out in figuring out this issue, this would be great. I am clueless right now.

I was on freenode in #dd-wrt and someone had recommended turning off QoS, which I did. Then made another phone call to the house, and IRC, VNC, and a file sharing transfer dropped off.

This is becoming annoying.

Start by reading the peacock announcement. I see that you are using 14929 on one router, but there is no info on the other router at all. Provide all info that the peacock requests in the required reading section. I would try going up to 15962 or down to 12548, depending on which file versions your routers support. You might just be overloading them and need something with more power.
