Does anybody know what the difference would be in the mega.generic and the mega.wrt600n? PM'ed BS but he won't reply.

Well, I guess to qualify as a bona-fide "dd-wrt Ho" I should be testing the latest firmware to answer that question myself!

Just upgraded my stable to this build.

1) upgrade went smooth as can be - no issues

2) performance (speed) as good as the last BS build - no issues there

3) how do I get to the VNCserver???

I have installed the vpn-generic package on one of my WRT54GLs, and I can't find anything related to VNCserver in the GUI.

I think VNCServer is still work in progress or did BS say it should be working?
From the changesets it looks like it's not in the GUI yet.

You may be right, but my experience has been that the majority of enhancements are not formally announced, they just appear in the test builds.

This is where it becomes challenging to judge exactly how much development "work in progress" code is embedded in these builds, and whether this might create instability in a build that otherwise offers a number of valuable maintenannce fixes.
