I had recently purchased a WRT54GL router and flashed it with DD-WRT v24 sp1. Everything works fine and I am able to connect my isp provider in client mode.
I tried to connect my router to an adhoc connection. But it is not getting connected. I tried both client mode and Adhoc mode. But it is not getting connected ( WAN IP is 0.0.0.0 ). I have used the correct passphrase and have generated the hex key in wireless security. But still it wont connect. I am able to connect to the same adhoc connection using my E71.
Can somebody please guide me to connect my router to a adhoc connection which uses WEP key ? I am a noob in networking and I am totally lost here

Can't tell you about adhoc, but SP1 had both WEP and bridging issues. Put 11296 on the router. You can find the path and further guidance in the peacock thread sticky. _________________ Warning: I'm "out of my element!"

I have never seen anyone trying to connect to an ad hoc network. I once had one in my pre dd-wrt days, but can't recall much about one. I searched the wiki for you and found nothing. There are very knowledgeble people here who will likely be able to chime in, but today seems pretty slow!
Good luck on that. Might want to try searching this forum for both words:
