The Buffalo v19484 stock firmware looks good so far!

My main PC is just 10 feet away from the router. It was able to connect only at 65Mbps, now it can connect at 144Mbps!

If Buffalo is already using firmware wzrhpg300nh-pro-v24sp2-14998, can I flash it directly with BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2 r17967 wzr-hp-g300nh-dd-wrt-webupgrade-MULTI.bin

or do I still need to flash it first with buffalo_to_ddwrt_webflash-MULTI.bin

I think I spoke too soon.

Found that the web interface is dying on me every now and then. I hope this is the only issue.

Probably have to run cron jobs to restart the web interface every night. Sad

I'm giving up. This Buffalo router's wifi with DD-WRT just sucks. After a few days, now my all WiFi clients won't connect and obtain a DHCP IP.

Guess the Atheros chip just plain sucks. Won't have another Atheros based router anymore.

Unfortunately, it seems does not support my Atheros AR9132 v2. All I see is AR71xx, AR231X/5312 Sad

I've been running build 19519 on my Buffalo g300NH for a while now and am having very good luck with it. Very responsive, minimal issues. I run an N-only 40MHz channel width and my main PC is connected at an indicated 300 Mbps the majority of the time.

I completely forgot that fact that I moved the router from upstair to downstair 2 days ago. After I realized that and move it back, the clients were able to connect and get an IP.

Really don't understand why it makes such big difference when downstair location is probably only 50 feet away and signal is still 3-bar.
