WL500g als VPN-Appliance hinter einem Router

Hallo!
ich möchte einen WL500g als VPN-"Server" hinter einem Router ins lokale Netz betreiben.
Jetzt frage ich mich, ob ich 2 Netzwerkstecker benötige, einer in WAN und einer in eine LAN-Buchse oder wie mache ich die Einstellungen damit es richtig geroutet wird?

Also so soll es aussehen:

routing rein:
Internet --> Speedport--> lokales Netz --> Portforward 1194 -->WL500g (lokaler IP)--> VPN --> lokales Netz

Muss ich den WAN-Port nun per DHCP oder fester IP am lokalen Netz anschliessen und noch ein 2tes Netzwerkkabel in einen LAN-Port stecken??
