The image is attached, you only can see the link when logged in.

You could add it manually, just get the files out of my images and copy them to another... Not that hard to do...

Hi everyone,

upgraded my wl500w to your firmware (dd-wrt.v24-11779_NEWD_mega-webcam.bin) DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/21/09) mega(SVN revision 11779M NEWD Eko) but still getting "usb.c: USB device 3 (vend/prod 0x46d/0x870) is not claimed by any active driver."

Stupid question... i am quite sure this camera (logitech quickcam express) is supported but i have no idea what to do from here!

After looking on the net, there is a QuickCam driver for Linux for this camera, but i have no idea how to load this up in DD-WRT. Since i am not a guru or expert, I could use some help please!

here's my lsmod:

Try the one attached in this post.

Will this file allow me to use all USB supported devices? Such as , USb Printer, Usb Thumb Drives, USB optical drives, Usb HDD's?
Thx

The USB cores are included in the build for printers, webcams, etc. any abstract items must be added by hand (ie: bluetooth etc)

PS: anyone checked my question or have an answer for my post above please?

@CaScAdE
Will this Labtec webcam work under your compiled software?

hub.c: new USB device 00:03.1-1.2, assigned address 6
usb.c: USB device 6 (vend/prod 0x46d/0x921) is not claimed by any active driver.

0x921 does not exist on the list.
If so maybe there is any FAQ how to add needed modules to my current software version?

Forget about my previous question...

Now I have a webcam which is listed here
Quote:

Even all drivers are loaded webcam is not recognized. Under "dd-wrt.v24-11762_NEWD_std-nokaid_usb-webcam" I could not even see this (usb.c: USB device 5 (vend/prod 0x41e/0x4051) is not claimed by any active driver) info in dmesg. This is an output:

Hi!

I've downloaded the DD-WRT-v24-060508-mega-automount-webcam-080606.bin firmware and flashed my WL-500gP V2 router. The webcam's (which is a Logitech QuickCam Express) LED is on, but there is no image on the /user/webcam.html page, just a white srceen.
Do I need to install spca5xx as well? How can I do that? I've tried it, using Putty but no luck Sad
Sorry if my questions are very amateur, but an absolute newbie!

Anyone tried motion detection with motion?

http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome

I would like to set up dd-wrt to monitor the webcam, and record stills (and maybe video/audio) if motion is detected.

Do you think it is posible?
