I'm getting any SSH connection dropped almost immediately after connecting after upgrading to this firmware build. Running dropbear from telnet shows:

Aiee, segfault! You should probably report this as a bug to the developer
On the client side (using Putty) it craps out here:
Event Log: Using Diffie-Hellman with standard group "group14"
Event Log: Doing Diffie-Hellman key exchange with hash SHA-1
Outgoing packet #0x1, type 30 / 0x1e (SSH2_MSG_KEXDH_INIT)
[snip some binary data]
Event Log: Server unexpectedly closed network connection
Anyone else with this issue? I have disabled SSH (apply-save-reboot) and reenable SSH (apply-save-reboot) which should have deleted and regenerated everything in nvram. This build contains dropbear v2013.56 from 2/21/2013 so the paint is still wet there (as are my suspicions).
Mine is not working even if i enable it in the webgui. Tried several reboots, etc.
The latest.. back when gui said 22dBm was incorrect reportings.. or my range wouldnt be the exact same as those firmwares with 22dBm & the current one with 17dBm.. not to mention the next released build will have codel/fq_codel finally & does it ever work well.
Something is wrong with my router or configuration because I am in the garage which is only 20 feet from the router, and the router is behind a large window so there is a single uninsulated wall in between.
My phone is unusable and the laptop drops to 6mbps (inconsistent connection) in the garage.
I have a WNDR3700 v2 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) std. I'd like to mount an external HD via Samba. The HDD is an NTFS volume. I read that I need a "big" version of dd-wrt. Which version can I install and where can I find it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I installed dd-wrt a while ago and I cant remember which version of router I have. Is there an easy way to tell? Possibly a command that could be put into the command box? or does the firmware say anywhere within ddwrt?
thanks

No it just says WNDR3700. Original versions 1 and 2 did this on the unit. Meaning there is not a way to tell if you dont know or forgot. I never got a box because i got it off of ebay. I want to update to the latest but I dont wanna screw up my router.
Hey guys I have a WNDR 3700 v3 and I placed ddwrt on it a while ago, I believe I'm running dd-wrt.v24-21061_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k. I'm looking for a build that has working vpn and flow tech. Can anyone recommend one and any modifications/precautions I need to take when flashing to it?

Radios turn Off when set to "Mixed" and On when "Disabled" using builds 23598 and 23720 on my WNDR3700v4. Tried loading via GUI and TFTP2.exe, same symptom all around.
Successfully reverted to stock firmware using the power while reseting till flashing Green LED and TFTP2 method, but lights never stopped blinking after update (had to power cycle).
I wonder if anyone can help me, installed the latest firmware on my Netgeat 3700v4 last night.
But could not find the correct place to input some of the information my broadband provider gave to me to set it up.
Can anyone tell me where i input the following Data?
Username:1234567891@talktalk.net
Password: blahblah
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
MTU: 1432
DNS settings: Set as automatic (or similar)
Encapsulation: PPP over ATM (PPPoA) using VC-MUX
Modulation Type: Auto

Based on the parameters you mentioned, you likely have a DSL connection. And if so would need a DSL Modem Router like the Netgear DGND3700v2.
By "Netgeat 3700v4", you likely mean the Netgear WNDR3700v4, and it does not support a DSL connection (with neither stock nor DD-WRT firmware).
Also know that DD-WRT will not be ported to the Netgear DGND3700v2 DSL Modem Router in the near (or apparently distant) future.
My old Linksys running an older version of ddwrt just died after many years of happy service, ran out and replaced it with the 3700v4.
Loaded DD-WRT v24-sp2 (03/29/14) std on no problem.
However, I am trying to configure it for a Filezilla server on an internal IP. I port forwarded 20, 21 and 22 from the external IP to the internal IP and forwarded a range for passive connection (all same as in FZ setup) but I still am getting "ECONNREFUSED" connection refused when I try to access the FTP from an outside connection filezilla client. I had this set up on the previous router's ddwrt and it worked fine. I am trying to read the old firmware nvrambak.bin in Notepad++ to see if there is anythign I missed but it's tough to read.
Are there known issues with this ddwrt build that could be affecting this?
