I think it would be based on 2.6 Kernel, its an excellent router with performance and Cost..

When will DD-WRT be supported ??

Should someone open up a donation account if needed (I don't know if the router is even in the hands of those who need it)?

^Thanks for taking the initiative...hopefully only a matter of time now (I don't yet have one of these routers so I am not in a position to donate).

does this really helps?

i've donated dir-825. i also have prepared a set of wndr3700 but were very reluctant to donate now...
apart from the email from brainslayer stating that he has received dir-825, i havent heard anything about it further despite posting in forum and sending him an email.

im very wiling to donate money to the group if it is supported by dd-wrt

however, does it mean the community is interested in collecting money instead of people donating equipment over to them?

its easier to spend some bugs instead of donating a 100€ router, dont u think?

Small donation sent. I can't stand the built-in firware on this router. It is so buggy that I now only use it for WIFI out of a DD-WRT router. Please keep us posted.

100€ router delivered to dd-wrt doorstep. upon receiving it, dd-wrt team ports it and produces the firmware. the community test it.. happy with it donates more money...

on the other hand, collecting money as donation from the community claiming to buy... device may or may not be ported even thou you may have bought it..

i think option 1 is better
