I actually use the Buffalo USB Wireless-N adapter

When I bought it, I didn't realize it was a 150mbps

But I get solid 150mbps through the Repeater Bridge.

Check Intel.Com to see if there are any newer drivers for your Intel 5300.

I think there are issues with Wireless-N adapters and Vista/Win 7 64-bit drivers though.

Can you say which chipset is on the Buffalo USB Stick? I bought in China a Comfast wireless-n USB stick with 150 MBit/s and I think with a Ralink 3070 chipset.

I don't want mess up my new Win7 System so I will test next week the Buffalo again under ubuntu with other wireless USB sticks.

I can test soonest next week because the router is in my flat in another city.

The Buffalo Wireless-N USB sticks use RaLink chipsets also,
same RaLink chipsets are also in the router.

I think its also a RaLink 3000 series in the USB Wireless-N adapters.

If you have the 150MB version, you could try downloading the Buffalo Drivers.

That's the adapter I got. You might try Buffalo drivers, they might work.
