ive read all the sections an linking routers and have scanned the auto-AP thread, but i can't keep it all stright, and am hoping that a guru can help. i think i need 2 routers to do this, but i'm hoping otherwise....
can i set up dd-wrt on router B as such:
wl0 as wireless client to router A
NAT and DHCP on router B
wl0.1 with new SSID as AP on router B
I think what you need is a Repeater. check the wiki
or if you want to use 2 routers... try client in router A and AP in router B _________________ WHR-HP-G54 Repeater mode

WRT54GL (had 7 storey fall and still working perfectly in repeater mode at 251mW since i installed dd-wrt a few years ago )
