NEWD2 drivers are working perfectly fine with Asus WL-500W
Using the following processor: Broadcom BCM4704
rev. 9 if that's a factor. The new driver seems to work much better with the device.
Everyone...keep in mind that the processor type and corerev really don't make much difference. (within reason)
We have confirmation that it works on 5352 and newer models...but....some brick...some don't....we are still in that trial and error phase of figuring out which ones....(example....Works on a V5, bricks a GL. both have the same processor, corerev and radio chipset.)
so...don't go by the conventional wisdom of the past when trying NEWD2 builds...it doesn't apply.

LOL i would be a pioneer but no jtag and i dont think i would like to ruin my weekend by bricking my router and not having an escape route lol....on a percent scale what would be a percent success rate for a 310N not bricking? _________________ E3000 K2.6 Eko 16758 Mega

Well it has been well over a day since I flashed NEWD2 on my WRT300n V1.1 and it is still running strong. My wife has noticed that she has been having less drop outs on her wireless, but that might not have anything to do with the new driver. (Down stairs neighbor moved out and might of lessend the 2.4Ghz congestion here). I have noticed better responce on the wireless, things are loading quicker. I also noticed that my 300N is using about 4MB less ram than my 350N(NEWD). Normally they stay the same. My 350N is actually just sitting there consuming power as nothing is connected to it exept the serial port. _________________ WRT-350N v1.0; 128MB RAM, WPC600N, Dual USB, Mini+USB+FTP NEWD, CPU@330Mhz, Terk WF-R x3, Serial, external jtag, and working on SD Mod. Running Samba3, Lighttpd, and some Python apps.

Probably 50% it will work, 50% not. I would be a pioneer on my GSv6 but this is my dad's router and no JTAG so if I brick I'm screwed. He already doesn't like all the downtime I get when I'm screwing around with dd-wrt's settings and im not suppose to touch it anymore lol :p

50/50... So far, nothing makes sense. Older routers run..V5 for instance. But the V8 bricks. TM runs, but the GL bricks.
So.. Don't spoil your evening.. Someone will test. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

Has anyone noticed better performance with the NEWD2 with G-routers and having afterburner enabled?
I'm a bit disappointed the afterburner feature with my 2 Buffalo's, the AP & RB never show any improvement in speed. When they are the only 2 devices connecting to each other when using DD-WRT. _________________ Home Network on Telus 1Gb PureFibre - 10GbE Copper Backbone

I flash my 600N v 1.1 to Eko's 12461M build the other day using the 610N firmware and it caused my 5.8 wireless to completely crap out. I can detect it but my computer will not connect to it. I did do a 30/30/30 reset when I flashed the firmware. Is the newer firmware more stable and if I flash should I use the 610N build again or use the NEWD2 Mega build?

This was already discussed in this thread. It doesn't make any difference between the two builds. I flashed mega on my wrt600n v1.1 just fine and I have both 2.4 & 5.8 Ghz working just fine. _________________ 2 x wrt600n v1.1 AP WL0 Mixed Mode WPA2 Pers Aes, WL1 N Only Repeater Bridge WPA2 Pers AES V24 BS 15778 WT610N
